Milena focuses on environmental data in the Emerging Markets. She is responsible for the validation of disclosed corporate data and engagement with companies to improve their transparency. Milena has authored several research pieces exploring the disclosure and regulatory landscape of the Emerging Markets, including ‘The Emerging Markets Energy Landscape: Pathways, Pitfalls & the importance of Resource Efficiency‘. Prior to Osmosis, Milena worked in environmental and social risk analysis of high-risk corporate client portfolios at Banco Continental in Paraguay. She also worked on the selection process of eligible projects recognised by the Green Bonds Principle and the Social Bond Principle for the Bank’s first sustainable bond issuance in international markets.
Milena holds an MSc in Environment and Development from the University of Leeds, with a focus on the Global South. She also holds a BSc in Environmental Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Itapúa, with a semester abroad at UFPR, Brazil. Milena holds the CFA Climate Change Investing Certification.
