Irish-domiciled, tax-transparent fund gives institutional investors a more efficient route into Osmosis’ flagship Resource Efficiency equity
London, 13 October 2026 – Osmosis Investment Management (Osmosis), the specialist sustainable investment manager, today launches a new UCITS Common Contractual Fund (CCF), the Osmosis Developed Core Equity Transition CCF (ISIN IE000XVLP0Q8), backed by an anchor investment of $100 million from an institutional investor.
The fund opens Osmosis’ flagship equity strategy to institutional investors through an Irish-domiciled, tax-transparent vehicle, answering growing demand for more tax-efficient investment structures.
The CCF structure is designed to allow eligible institutional investors, including pension funds, to benefit from applicable double taxation treaties, potentially reducing withholding tax on investment income compared with certain conventional pooled fund structures.
The launch builds on Osmosis’ longstanding Developed Core Equity Transition strategy, which has been available through a UCITS fund since 2017, extending access to an established investment approach that combines sustainability with disciplined portfolio construction.
Resource Efficiency at the heart of the strategy
Osmosis’ Developed Core Equity Transition strategy is built around the firm’s proprietary Resource Efficiency investment signal, developed to identify companies that generate greater economic value from their use of carbon, water and waste.
Rather than concentrating investments in a narrow group of low-carbon sectors or relying on traditional ESG exclusions, Osmosis takes an all-economy approach. Companies are assessed against environmentally comparable peers, allowing the strategy to identify relative efficiency leaders across sectors.
The strategy combines this research with systematic portfolio construction, managing country, sector and style factor exposures while maintaining tight controls on active risk relative to its benchmark. This approach seeks to deliver improved risk-adjusted returns and a materially reduced environmental footprint while retaining broad market exposure, without the concentration risk or high tracking error typically associated with climate-focused benchmarks.
Ben Dear, CEO of Osmosis Investment Management, commented:
“We are seeing growing interest from institutional investors in accessing established strategies through tax-efficient investment structures. Our second CCF launch reflects that demand and our continued focus on providing solutions that meet investors’ evolving needs.
Our Core Equity Transition strategy is built on nearly two decades of proprietary Resource Efficiency research, underpinned by the conviction that sustainability and investment performance are intrinsically linked. How efficiently a company uses scarce resources is a powerful indicator of its operational discipline, resilience and capacity to create long-term value.”
The Osmosis Developed Core Equity Transition CCF will be available to eligible institutional investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, foundations and other qualifying institutions, subject to applicable regulatory and distribution requirements.
