Mavis researches ways to continually optimise and implement model improvements to the Osmosis Resource Efficiency factor. Her work illustrates the economic and environmental rationale behind the unique three-factor approach at Osmosis. Her projects have included linking Resource Efficiency to companies’ financial characteristics, as well as comparing and contrasting the dynamics between the factor and traditional style factors. She also works closely with the wider Research team and Portfolio Management team to examine how the factor has evolved over time across both developed and emerging markets.
Mavis holds both a BA and an MSc in Physical Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. She has also had prior experience within the sales & trading division of an investment bank in London. She has completed Level I and II of the CFA, and is currently working towards Level III.
