Colm O’Brien is a senior executive with over 25 years of experience in asset management, having held roles at Franklin Templeton, Irish Life, and LGIM. At LGIM, he was responsible for the index business across EMEA and Asia Pacific, growing it from a UK-centric operation to one of the largest systematic investment businesses in the world, managing ~$750 billion across equities and fixed income. Colm was also instrumental in developing LGIMs ESG integrated solutions through developing proprietary ESG Scores and the associated Future World Index range.
Colm holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from Dublin City University. He is a CFA Charterholder, a Certified Investment Fund Director (IOB), and holds the Fundamentals of Alternative Investments Certificate (CAIA Association).
