Where are you?
Osmosis launched in 2009 and is majority owned by management and employees. The company is headquartered in London with a growing presence in North America.
Our team of quantitative environmental analysts and portfolio managers are singularly focused on delivering three levels of impact. Better risk-adjusted returns, measurable environmental reductions and an active engagement programme to promote better corporate environmental disclosure.
Government Pension Funds, State Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, Foundations, Endowments, Family Offices and Banks, are amongst our client roster spanning North and South America, Mainland Europe, Nordics and the UK.
Osmosis recognises that investment stewardship is core to asset protection and long-term value creation. We aim to foster corporate governance best practice in all our investee companies as well as in our own. To this end, we are developing an active shareholder policy which adheres to the UK Stewardship Code and focuses on four areas: direct engagement, collaborative engagement, proxy voting and policy & education.
Our direct engagement is focused on promoting broader and deeper environmental disclosures and encouraging a more transparent and coherent approach to sustainability reporting. We actively collaborate with several agencies which seek to promote good governance at scale. These include the UNPRI, UKSIF, Climate Action 100 and the Carbon Disclosure Project. For those clients who have given us authority, we use a proxy voting service as a dialogue for best ESG practice. Osmosis regularly participates in policy discussion, in relation to environmental disclosures and is a regular participant at investment conferences and sustainable investment initiatives.
