Job Overview
The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Trading Operations and will be part of Operations Team tasked with performing the day-to-day operations. This role will be ideal for someone with 2+ years operational experience. The role will also include project work which may include streamlining and improving operational processes.
Core responsibilities will include:
- Daily cash and position reconciliation, ensuring all breaks are resolved timely.
- Liaising with PBs, Administrators and Custodians.
- Dealing with the outsourced MO/BO service provider on a daily basis.
- Margin calls/returns and collateral management.
- Trade support – working closing with the portfolio managers.
- Working with fund administrator on monthly NAV.
- Contact point for resolution of daily operational issues including resolving ad-hoc queries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain good relationships with PBs, custodians and fund administrators.
Requirements & qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related subject, such as STEM, accounting or economics
- At least 2+ years’ relevant work experience in operations.
- Must be competent in Microsoft Office, particularly in excel (VBA/Pivots).
- Ideally those with IMC or equivalent.
- Experience in using an OMS/PMS is an advantage– preferably Paladyne
- Experience or knowledge of using CTM (Omgeo) is an advantage.
